Our Mission
The Nojo's Dog aims to provide the best food for our dogs to live long and happy lives by strictly utilizing real, whole foods and by being transparent with our food so dog parents can make well informed decisions for their dogs.

How It Started
It all begins with Abby. Our Founder & CEO, Tony, adopted Abby in 2018 at 4 years old. Like any previous dog parent, Tony felt the spirit of joy, enthusiasm and love that a dog can bring to a family and felt that Abby would be an amazing addition during a difficult time in their lives.

Triumph
After a veterinarian appointment for a health check-up, Tony and his daughter were left with unsettling news. Abby's health results showed significant nutritional deficiencies that likely stemmed from neglect by her previous parents. The vet's recommendations were to address these deficiencies by providing human-grade foods that could be found at most retail stores. These foods were supposed to be of higher quality and great for Abby, but Tony thought he could do better.

Today
So Tony began his journey of cooking for Abby at home, trying different recipes and seeing what she liked. He used the same food quality that his family would eat and noticed a drastic improvement to not only her test results but her physical appearance and happiness. In Tony's quest to finding out what foods were the best for Abby in her time of need and to now maintaining a healthy diet for her at 10 years old, he learned so much and wanted to extend his reach to other dogs and dog loving parents. And thus, Tony created The Nojo's Dog - a human grade dog food company that follows his philosophy of using human grade, high quality ingredients that do not contain any preservatives, fillers or artificial ingredients. Just simply whole, real foods and ingredients that we would all recognize.
